Ok, first of all, pretty sure the Queen of freaking England can afford her own IPOD. They do sell them in England you know, it's not just an America thing. Second, how much do you want to bet she is using it to prop up a table leg, to keep it from wobbling? Third, she is the freaking Queen of England, what were you thinking? You get her jewels or something, not an MP3 player. She is like 100 years old, I can't see her rocking out with ear buds.

I gotta say, it seems like Obama is intentionally trying to ruin our alliance with the UK, or at least put a strain on it. When the prime minister visited Washington he brought Obama an ornamental pen holder made from the timbers of the Victorian anti-slave ship HMS Gannet, which was oak from the Gannet's sister ship, HMS Resolute, that was carved to make a desk that has sat in the Oval Office in the White House since 1880. Quite a gift, which is typical for visiting dignataries. What did Obama give the prime minister in return....a box set of 25 classic American films....which as it turns out are completely useless in the UK because they code their DVDs different from ours.

Ok, maybe you could give Obama the benefit of the doubt, maybe it was just a dumb rookie mistake, and hopefully he learned from it and he'll do better next time.

April 1, 2009 rolls around and Obama has his shot to make up to the UK government for his obvious lack of respect he paid to them earlier by meeting with the Queen herself. You'd think he would go all out on this one....the original key that Benjamin Franklin used when he flew his kite and was struck by lightning...George Washington's original wooden teeth...a model replica of a famous UK battleship made from a piece of the metal recovered from the twin towers....SOMETHING AMAZING!!! IT'S THE FREAKIN' QUEEN OF ENGLAND!!! But what does he do to return to the good graces of her majesty and the country that has stood by our side for over 100 years and two world ipod. Are you kidding me? Did you forget to get the Queen a gift and pulled the motorcade over at a wal-mart on the way to Buchingham Palace? Was the ipod made of gold from the tombs of ancient pharoahs? had a bunch of Obama's speeches.

Kind'a seems like Obama is intentionally showing the UK a lack of respect in hopes of what?...a clean break so he can ally with his new arab BFF's to whom he's "reaching out a hand". Ridiculous!
