Janeane Garofalo: Tea Parties Were Racist

Let's be very honest about what this is about. This is not about bashing Democrats. It's not about taxes. They have no idea what the Boston Tea party was about. They don't know their history at all. It's about hating a black man in the White House," she said on MSNBC's "The Countdown" with Keith Olbermann Thursday evening. "This is racism straight up and is nothing but a bunch of teabagging rednecks. There is no way around that."

Olbermann did not once try to challenge her on those assertions.

The actress went on to describe the brain size of typical "right-winger, Republican or conservative or your average white power activist."

"Their synapses are misfiring. ... It is a neurological problem we are dealing with," she said. This isn't the first time she's offered this analysis, either. Ms. Garofalo said similar things about Alaskan GOP Governor Sarah Palin's brain last February in an interview with an environmental blog.

The actress went on to bash the GOP on MSNBC Thursday because it had "crystallized into the white power movement" as well as Fox News, which she said has captured the "Klan demo[graphic]."

"Who else is Fox talking to? Urban older white guys and their girlfriends who suffer from Stockholm Syndrome," she said.

Ironically, Ms. Garofalo is currently playing a role on the drama 24, which is aired by the Fox Broadcasting Company and is popular among conservative circles.

Let's be honest about a few more things Ms. Garofalo. First, you have no idea what the tea parties are about. You don't understand conservatives, what they stand for, what they believe in, what drives them, motivates them, gets them out of bed in the morning, makes them happy, makes them proud, or fosters their faith.

Second, you are not a famous actress, you are barely a c list celebrity, you have no formal education or experience that in any way qualifies you to make political analysis, let alone criticize conservative ideology. You are a nobody, a hack, a liberal nut job spewing your filth over the air waves. Why anyone, anyone, would have you on their show, and ask for your insight on any topic, is beyond me. Is that what the news has come down to? Political and social analysis from an "actor?"

Third, the vast, vast majority of conservatives care little about race. Liberals are so dead set on being not racist, that they focus on it constantly, they see it everywhere. They go out of their way to notice people of varying colors, while conservatives see only people. By their own obsession with race, and not being racist, they constantly draw attention to it, thus being far more racist than 99.9% of conservatives.

Fourth, our synapses are firing on all cylinders, thank you. If you want to see protesters with a few cards short of a full deck, then please reference this site, which shows just how highly functioning libtard protesters can be.

And finally, in the future, you would do yourself a great service by not publicly mocking, discrediting, and bashing something you know absolutely nothing about; something you don't understand in the least infinitesimal degree, something you are mentally incapable of ever grasping because your mind is so twisted, so distorted by liberal muck.

One more quick note. I'd also like to add that you are by far the ugliest woman I have ever seen. You look like a man. I would rather castrate myself with a spoon than see you naked. Please, please, invest in some plastic surgery. Or better yet, please never leave your home, so I don't have to see your ugly face.
