The biggest problem with America (right, left, whatever) is that we get caught up in the moment. We see a politician up on stage, hear him/her say "We can change!" and think the person means the same change that we want. The general public overlooks, or excuses all the past decisions and/or choices the politician has made up to that point.

Obama has such a nice shiny candy coating of hope and change. Unfortunately, a lot of people don't realize that instead of a delicious chocolate center he is full of BULL CRAP! He is NOT out to help the American people, he is out to help the very liberal democrats. Not even the moderate democrats. He may put on a facade of being moderate, but that will quickly disappear if he is elected. We will then have the most liberal senator as president. O.....crap!

I have many conversations with people that can not understand why I do not want to vote for Obama because in their minds he's the "obvious choice". I then explain that he freaks the CRAP out of any conservative, or relatively conservative person. He is pushing his agenda and the agenda of extremists of the his party, not the agenda of the American people.

And the American people just might get caught up in the shiny candy shell without smelling the bull crap until it's too late.

I suppose he can always claim he meant to vote "Yes" on the law and punched the wrong hole or something.

His vote against SB 2165 ias more problematic for him. He would have to hope the McCain campaign is even more inept than the Kerry campaign.

Yeah, he will definitely need McCain to implode. At this point, Obama is looking more and more like Michael Dukakis.
