Washington, D.C., DC, United States (AHN) - A 22-year immigration ban preventing people with HIV/AIDS from entering the United States has ended. The ban was enacted in 1987 during the height of the AIDS scare. President Barack Obama signed a law repealing it in October. That law goes into effect this month.
