I thought Joe Biden said paying higher taxes was patriotic? Apparently Charlie Rangel, Timothy Geithner, Caroline Kennedy and Tom Daschle didn't get the memo. Have there been Republicans out there that haven't paid taxes? Most definitely. But this is the party of big taxes; this is the party of social welfare programs; this is the party of don't worry we'll take care of you. So isn't it a little hypocritical of them to not pay taxes? And then of course you have people like Chris Dodd and Tom Daschel getting VIP loans from Countrywide.
