US Soilder Says he Shouldn’t Have to Go to Afghanistan Because Obama is Not a U.S. Citizen

"U.S. Army Maj. Stefan Frederick Cook, set to deploy to Afghanistan, says he shouldn’t have to go.

His reason?

Barack Obama was never eligible to be president because he wasn’t born in the United States.

Cook’s lawyer, Orly Taitz, who has also challenged the legitimacy of Obama’s presidency in other courts, filed a request last week in federal court seeking a temporary restraining order and status as a conscientious objector for his client.

In the 20-page document — filed July 8 with the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia — the California-based Taitz asks the court to consider granting his client’s request based upon Cook’s belief that Obama is not a natural-born
citizen of the United States and is therefore ineligible to serve as commander-in-chief of the U.S. Armed Forces.

Cook further states he “would be acting in violation of international law by engaging in military actions outside the United States under this President’s command, simultaneously subjecting himself to possible prosecution as a war criminal by the faithful execution of these duties.”

Well, I'm torn. The man has a point. Obama never satisfied the questions of his citizenship status. His birth certificate was shoddy, and he never released full birth records. Why? Why have so many lawsuits challenging his citizenship been shot down? What is he hiding? If it is a non issue, why not present the facts and put it to rest?

Suppose he does go to war, only to find out Obama is a fraud. That means everything he did under Obama's order was illegal, and he is now a war criminal.

I don't have a strong feeling as to whether or not he is a citizen, frankly I haven't seen strong evidence to either argument. But, I think there is enough evidence to warrant an investigation into his citizenship, and enough evidence that Obama needs to get off his arrogant butt and produce some papers. Show us the records brother, show us the records!

On the other hand, is serving in the military about whether or not you like the president? No. Is it about serving your country, and protecting it's citizens? Yes. Although I think he has a valid argument, I also think he has a more pressing duty as a protector of our country. I believe he should deploy anyway, while he lawsuit continues on through the courtroom battles.

Best of luck solider.
