Obama Calls America "Arrogant" During Speech In Strasbourg

From BBC, Obama blames America:

Later, President Obama told an audience in Strasbourg that the US and Europe had allowed the alliance to drift in recent years.

He said the US had been "arrogant" and "dismissive" towards its allies, while there was "insidious" anti-Americanism in Europe. He said these attitudes had to change.

Gateway Pundit catches Obama bashing Bush and apologizing for liberating Iraq. Maybe Obama wants to join the Dixie Chicks on tour.

You forgot about Rumsfelds comments about France and Germany douche? BTW try spell checking before you post on RWN. Obama is OUR President... not OUT President.

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. This narcissist is calling US arrogant. We are confident and right, not hubris and arrogant. That is the difference between the Left and the rest of America.

America is arrogant. Our arrogant belief that Iraq would turn up roses absent any kind of plan (or even any real justification for the war in the first place) is a perfect example.

Why should we be arrogant? We've lost every real war we've been in since WW2.

Oh well. I'm glad the job loses are affecting conservatives more than liberals. You guys deserve it for constantly voting for the fiscally-liberal and social-oppresive Republicans. Not that the Ds are much better, but at least they don't start wars for profit and ego.

Dear dumb guest, spell check will NOT help with a typo, OUT is NOT misspelled, perhaps a bit of proof reading may be required but the spelling is perfect, and you have now shown YOUR ignorance... LMAO

No, you're confident and WRONG, and that's what he's pointing out. Do you know why americans put canadian flags on their bags when they travel to europe? Ask anyone who's been. I'm not saying americans are bad people, but in general, abroad, aren't liked very much because they're arrogant and self centered. If most americans would shut their mouths and open their ears (and brains) to new ideas, our economy might not have been as f***ed as it is right now.

"Oh well. I'm glad the job loses are affecting conservatives more than liberals."

What? Where is the proof of that? I guess you could argue that it is true, since all the liberal hippies don't have jobs. Of course the job losses would affect conservatives more.

"How dare he, as out President, go abroad and bash out country."

Proof this

"Social-oppressive"? You must be referring to social programs like: get a job, prepare for life by getting an education, or being self-sufficient. I know it sounds oppressive to live in a society where the people who work get paid for their labor and the people with more schooling typically make a higher wage, but I'm sure there are spots open in a more socialist community if you're interested in moving. Don't change my country!

"We've lost every real war we've been in since WW2." Man o man, I don't want to say you're stupid or something....but man are you stupid. A person should really be careful when they attempt to use history in their arguments, because it's written down and easily verified. In your case, your statement that we've (apparently) lost every "real" war we've been in since WW2 is a complete and total sack of crap. The successful wars we've been a part of since WW2 include: Korea, 1st Gulf War, the Cold War, and the current war in Iraq. Unless of course you don't want to characterize the Cold War as a "real" war. Just ridiculous.

No offense, but I've been to Europe and the Scandinavian countries several times and I never had any problems for being an American. I don't know where you came up with the "Canadian flag" idea, but it sounds made up. Also, I think it's new ideas (i.e. force rich, big-wig mortgage companies to give out high risk mortgages to poor people....thanks a lot Democrats and Clinton) that got us into this mess in the first place. Had we stuck to traditional business sense and conservative values we never would've been in this recession.

There's a reason businesses don't give out credit to certain people, because they can't pay it back. Now why on Earth would the Democrats assume that forcing companies to make bad business decisions would somehow work! I think we need a return to traditional business sense.
