Yes, it is funny. But, it also illustrates the way people have grown soft and fat on government. These people clearly lost the ability to take care of themselves a long time ago. If the left is so willing to take care of you with welfare checks, medicare, etc., why do anything for yourself? People have forgotten that this country was founded on the concept that big, controlling government was bad. Our fathers founded this country based on the concepts of individual freedom, the ability to make something for yourself, hard work, determination, etc. Unfortunately, that is an idea lost on many.
