Alternative to Earth Hour - Global Warming Hoax Hour

Earth Hour: Save a watt and the Earth

Earth Hour is a sort of open-source movement against global warming. On Saturday, March 28, at 8:30 p.m. in each time zone, millions of people in thousands of cities are expected to turn off the lights for one hour to raise people's consciousness about the link between global warming and energy use.

Started in Australia two years ago, the event is mushrooming thanks in part to the Internet and social media.

One day before the start of the event in Asia, "Earth Hour" is the top search item on Twitter. A 30-second clip about Earth Hour on You Tube has gotten almost 59,000 views. Facebook groups count hundreds of thousands of members.

Well I propose a Global Warming Hoax hour. Instead of turning off our lights for an hour, I propose we turn all of our lights on. I propose we turn on our TV's, radios and washing machines. I propose we get in our big SUV's, trucks and tractors, and rev our engines and honk our horns to raise people's consciousness about the the global warming hoax, through the absurdity of this act. What do you say? Will you join me? Will you post the invitation on message boards, other websites, and e-mail your friends? Let's warm this mother up. Saturday, March 28, at 8:30 p.m.

With all do respect:
The point of ¨earth hour¨ is not about reducing significantly carbon emissions for 1 hour. I know the general public thinks it will make a huge dif. The real interest behind this is making a point. Climate change is a political issue. The more people involved trying to make a point, hopefully the more political awareness there will be. It is a good intention...

Earth Hour is just another effort to tax the air we breathe and give those taxes to the liberal elite so that they can enrich themselves while exercising even greater control over our lives.
