Political Polls

I wanted to make a quick comment about political polls.

It is important to note that all of these polls are linked to, and funded bu main stream media outlets, like the New York Times, CBS, NBC, etc.

As a result of their funding and affiliation, they are also biased to the political candidate they would like to see elected. By manipulating the polling numbers, they attempt to sway public opinion. By selective polling, and other means, they try and show the general public that their candidate is supported by the majority of those polled, and thus, the majority of Americans.

The only time the polls should be given any credence, is the week of the election. The polls tend to be much more accurate, because they want to be considered accurate, and reputable, thus the bias is set to the side for that brief period of time.
