Obama and the Born Alive Infant Protection Act

So I previously wrote about Obama shooting down legislation to protect born-live babies of failed abortions , called the Born Alive Infant Protection Act (found here). On the subject, Obama said:

"As I understand it, this puts the burden on the attending physician who has determined, since they were performing this procedure, that, in fact, this is a nonviable fetus; that if that fetus, or child - however way you want to describe it - is now outside the mother's womb and the doctor continues to think that it's nonviable but there's, let's say, movement or some indication that, in fact, they're not just coming out limp and dead, that, in fact, they would then have to call a second physician to monitor and check off and make sure that this is not a live child that could be saved."

So Obama doesn't support saving innocent little babies, who have survived abortions, because it would burden the abortionist to have to call in another Dr., who is used to dealing with LIVING babies, to check the babies vital signs. Well, then Mr. Obama, certainly it is ok to let these babies just die. We wouldn't want to inconvenience the abortionist... Now that's change I can believe in (eyes rolling).

There is a great article on RedState.com that has the offical transcript of Obama discussing his rejection of the Born Alive Infant Protection Act. The article can be found here.
